You've come to the right place!
My name is Jaylee and I love being a college math tutor because I love helping my students achieve their dreams by helping them pass their general math classes easily.
I have my bachelor's degree in Mathematics Education and I've taught math classes at the elementary, secondary, and university level for the last 9 years.
Currently, I teach math part-time as a licensed high school teacher while also working part-time as an online math tutor. If you want to know more about what I do for fun and what I'm passionate about, check out my About Me page.
I am qualified to tutor college math up through senior-level analysis. It's been a while since I've studied discrete math, advanced calculus, and differential equations. So, if you need help with those topics, please be sure to send me your homework in advance so I can study up before our tutoring session.
I can also tutor university physics at the freshman and sophomore levels (no junior or senior level classes). When I was in college, I taught recitation classes of 20+ students and led the labs for a sophomore level class. So, I am very familiar with the topics of a standard introduction to physics university course.
If you need help with more advanced topics, I have friends that majored in physics and I'd be happy to put you in touch with them.
When you book online college math tutoring sessions with me, you can purchase them one at a time or you can get a significant discount by purchasing a package of sessions.
If you choose the discounted package option, you will book the first session as part of the purchase process and then you will receive an email explaining how to book the remaining sessions.
If you would like to be notified when I offer special bonus discounts, sign up for my mailing list.
Please be sure to select the correct time zone when you schedule your math tutoring session.
Before you schedule your tutoring session, review these policies so you know what to expect in the case of tardiness, no-shows, rescheduled or transferred tutoring sessions.
Book your college math tutoring session by choosing the time that works best for you and providing your information in the form above.
After you book your tutoring session, you will receive a confirmation email with a link to my online meeting room. You will also receive instructions explaining how to use Zoom and Ziteboard, the technologies I use to tutor online.
The day before your scheduled session, I will ask you to email me pictures or screenshots of your homework problems. This will give me time to review the topics and make your tutoring session more effective.
One hour before your tutoring session starts, you will receive a reminder email with the link to my online meeting room. I suggest that you arrive in the meeting room at least 5 minutes before your tutoring session is scheduled to begin, just in case you have any technical difficulties.
If you have any questions, feel free to reach out. I'm looking forward to working with you and doing my best to make math easy for you!
